Who’s behind Enchanted?

Hi I’m Heather Christian Iglesias, the owner of Enchanted.  I’m a slave of art in all forms; restoring beautiful furniture, painting, crafting, building, thrifting, antiquing, curating fun events and photography. 


Why do you want to work with me at Enchanted?

I will go out of my way to accomplish what I promise you. And I won’t promise you the stars, unless of course you ask for stars. 😉 Your vision and your budget are the two most important aspects of your event.  I will help you accomplish that when you rent from Enchanted or choose the DIY assist or the Event Assist Services.  I’m easy to work with, hardworking and I aim to please.

I was in the Army for over eight years.  I was deployed and lived in other countries which opened my eyes to many other ways of living and the beauty of different styles. I take pride in choosing unique pieces.

I had many roles as a soldier, but the biggest one I bring to this table is punctuality, discipline to follow thru, and to go above and beyond, even when its not asked for.

Jobs and education~

Engineer for the Army; Provided me the skills to do a little electrical, operate any tool and build a few pretty damn cool things.

Special Events Coordinator; Allowed me to express my fun side while orginazing many large functions, putting together teams to carry out events and build relations with the community and volunteers.

Bachelors in Recreation Administration/ Minor in Psychology; Earned at Kean University in New Jersey.

Disability Administration for US government; and a Recreation Assistant for Wyndham Hotel, VA Parks and Rec, and Recreation Coordinator for a nursing home.  All in which gave me the guidance and to handle any type of person in many different circumstances while providing a lot of fun and/or rehabilitation.

For several years before Enchanted, I worked for myself redoing furniture, designing websites, writing an upcycle ebook and blogging about how to paint furniture.

After my husband retired from the Army in 2017 we have come home to the Lowcountry. I have been running Enchanted ever since.  Of course with a little help from my favorite people in the world.

A few personal things about me: I’ve been married to my husband for 14 years> and I planned our wedding of 50 guests myself.  I’m a bit of a perfectionist but I embrace the fun child (of hippies) within. I also grew up with my Grandma who ingrained art and crafts into my life.  I’m originally from Mississippi, so be prepared to get caught up in how I’m speaking. I love hugs, am a sucker for pretty design, gardens, and sunsets.  Coffee and chocolate are my prophylactic of choice.
